“Lazy” Summer Days Are Busy For The Title Industry
What do you picture when someone asks you about the summer? Lazy, hazy days spent beating the heat and cooling off somewhere near a pool or body of water. Maybe you prefer hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, or catching some rays at your favorite local beach. One thing is for sure, it’s a slower time of year, when kids are out of school and the days seem to go on well into the nights.
Generally in our business of title insurance, this is the time you see many real estate agents taking a step back and booking their own annual vacations, while it’s quiet and slow. If you can believe it though, we have been busier than ever with our closings and refinance orders! We’re on a steady roll of receiving contracts and getting them through the finish line to the closing table. Taking a newer, bigger inventory than we have had in a substantial amount of time, while also adding in lower interest rates, creates a recipe for successfully closing files, whether they are cash or lender transactions. While we wish everyone a happy and relaxing summer, we will be right here in the office serving you, closing as many files as fortune and opportunity allow.
